Online Psycho-educational Intervention in Mathematical Learning Difficulties

The present study shows the results of six case studies referring to an intervention applied mathematical learning difficulties. Participants were 8 12 years old. considered mathematics as a language and it is theoretically based on Bronfenbrenner's bioecological model, Vygotsky's sociocultural theory Peircean semiotics. objective was work development academic skills associating with interactional social skills. analysis qualitative data collected during process quantitative from scales instruments pre- post-intervention measures. However, due COVID-19 pandemic context, some methodological issues affected, mainly because evaluations took place before in midst pandemic. Social impacts have unevenly affected participants, especially adolescents children. had worse effect than children, regarding procedures that involve memory, those attentional problems also results.
